Introducing Our Creator and Writer

Nina is a homeschooling mother of five children, three of whom are grown and flown, while two remain at home, completing the final years of their homeschooling education.

Nina has been home-educating her children from the get-go; that’s 24 years in total. Before and throughout homeschooling, Nina has also worked in an advisory capacity and as a tutor. She loves creating inspiring resources for other home-educating families and is passionate about education; specifically, home education.

In May 2026, new legislative changes were proposed that left many in the home education community nervous and feeling they needed to undertake more detailed record-keeping. In response, Nina created a series of Homeschool Learning Journals, inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to keeping child-centred visual records. Meanwhile, she’s also been busily working on a series of high school-level Literature and Composition Unit studies and a few History Units, so watch this space!
