Between the Lines

Coming Soon!

Between the Lines is a unit study curriculum written for high-school-level home-educated teens, spanning two complementary ranges: our history and social studies units, and our literature-based units. Across both, the goal is the same — students gain a deeper understanding of our world, our history, and the literature that grows out of it.

These units are designed for students ready for in-depth, real-world learning and meaningful discussion, with content that gets them thinking critically about the world they live in and their place in it. Every unit is written from a Christian worldview, but lightly applied so any family can use it comfortably. Where a unit carries a heavier Christian focus, it is clearly noted in its description.

Our history & social studies units are rich, source-led studies of the past and the people who shaped it. Students will learn about history through the experiences of those who were there, such as soldiers and citizens, missionaries, and civil rights activists, all explored through visual, oral and written texts.

Our literature units are a close study of significant texts and the literary themes and ideas expressed through them.
